Welcome.
Please feel free to choose from the top menu or listen to me ramble on about how I ended up here.
A long long time ago, in a reality that is very much like the one we are in now, I used to go to these underground parties called raves. They were gatherings of community who liked electronic music and some other things. The love for this community made me want to give back to it. I started doing that by flyering, and then later promoting and finally holding an event or two myself. Eventually the climate for these types of parties started to change and with it, so did I.
Years later I would discover that while I was having those experiences that another type of event was finding its feet. Fandom events called conventions. The first convention that I ever did (not as a fan/ticketbuyer) was Fan Expo a long time ago. I became infatuated with Invader Zim around that time and decided that I would have to meet Johnen Vasquez and I discovered he would be at this Fan Expo event. I was a volunteer and was in charge of some lines (including his), and some other things that I really don't remember. It might have been the most chaos at an event I had ever experienced but a general understand of how the structure worked and witnessing the excitement of its guests was enough. I then came on board with a number of conventions to help shape the convention scene in Ontario as we know it today.
It was really only a matter of time before raving and conventions would find a way to meet in the middle. The first after party I (we) did was an unofficial after party for Hamilton Comic Con. It was an experience that left me wanting to do more of them - if you ever meet me in person definitely ask about it. Since then I started to reach out to companies and have thrown parties / after parties with companies like, Enthusiast Gaming, Nutaku.net, Crunchyroll, and More.
